Nick previously worked at Carle MCO as a therapy technician and returned in October of 2019. He now serves as a physician assistant to Dr. Mark Hanson, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist who treats all types of orthopedic conditions, specializing in hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy of the knee, and shoulder, joint injections, and fracture treatments.

Nick grew up in Bloomington, Illinois, and attended Bloomington High School, where he was part of the golf and track and field teams. After high school, he attended Southern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences. He continued his medical education by attending Physician Assistant school at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN, and earning his master’s degree. Nick completed various rotations in all medical fields but settled on orthopedic surgery because of the variety it offers within the clinic and the operating room. In his spare time, Nick enjoys traveling to new places with his friends and family.
