Dr. Hanson is originally from Crystal Lake, IL. He joined Carle MCO in 2002 and is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and the subspecialty of orthopedic sports medicine. His specialties include hip and knee replacement, arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, sports medicine, joint injections, and fracture treatment. He is assisted in the office and operating room by physician assistant Nick Von Holten. Nurses Blanca and Bonny assist with all areas of his practice. When he is not working, Dr. Hanson enjoys playing tennis, lifting weights, and spending time with his wife Jillian, his son Adam, and his daughter Alison.
